It is just so expensive to replace and with two cats and a bunny and two kids with Asthma it should be replace every 4 or 5 months. I live in Canada and by the time I get the filter and pre filter it is almost $100.00. I read such good reviews about the Hunter tower I thought I should give it a try not realizing the cost to keep it going. Bottom line, product is great, too expensive.
