I had accidentally left my other two back in Texas and my son had caught a cold. After hearing my spiel about how it worked, the pharmacist dashed off to set one aside for her kids.
The Vicks Waterless Vaporizer is literally a plug-and-use product. Simply insert a scent pad, plug in the power cord, and choose your intensity setting. It goes from "off" to "III", with the latter being the most intense release of scent. No mess or fuss. At night, it doubles as a pleasant, low level, green nightlight.
The only complaint you may have is that, similar to the rub-on version of Vicks, it can burn the eyes if it is a little too close to someone's face. Otherwise, it clears your nose like magic and lives up to the Vicks reputation.
Oh yeah, I've since added a fourth one to my anti-cold/flu arsenal. My mom seems to be claiming a couple.
